Mitri A. Ghareeb, DDS, FAGD
Meet Dr. Mitri Ghareeb
Dr. Mitri grew up in Cross Lanes, WV, and attended the Cross Lanes Christian School. He met his wife, Heather, there and they were married in 1996. They have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters, Kalila, Samira, and Aleeya.
Dr. Mitri did his undergraduate work at West Virginia State College and then graduated with an RBA from Marshall University in 2000. Dr. Mitri then attended the WVU School of Dentistry and graduated Suma-cum-laude at the top of his dental school class in 2006. His primary practice is in Cross Lanes, where he and his team enjoy making patients feel at home. He and his family also live in Cross Lanes, and love to cheer on the Mountaineers and the Warriors at his alma-mater, CLCS, where his children attend. Dr. Mitri serves as the Director of Athletics and Development at CLCS. He is also active in his church, Bible Center Church, and teaches Sunday School. Dr. Mitri serves on the Board of Directors at the Union Mission as well.
Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the West Virginia Dental Association, the OKU Dental Honor Society, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy for outstanding achievements in dentistry. He was also the 2013 President of the Kanawha Valley Dental Society. Dr. Mitri was one of a handful of dentists in the country who completed a 2-year Mentorship program in Scottsdale, Arizona under the direction of Gordon Christensen, D.D.S. Dr. Mitri received his Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry in June 2013.
